Are you too far for an in-person lesson? Our solution is to use modern technology for the benefit of your horsemanship skills. Whether the video session is live or recorded. Here's how:

Schedule a consult either via phone or email with Kate; which will determine your goals and whether it will be a live video session or a recorded session.
Pay the video coaching fee online for your convenience via our store.
If it's a recorded session, you will take a 10 to 20 minute video of yourself and your horse with your particular need for receiving feedback. If it's a live session; you will schedule a time with Kate for live coaching.
Upload your recorded video to YouTube, unlisted if you wish to keep it private.
Email the YouTube link you created to BlazingHeartsHorsemanship@gmail.com.
Receive feedback on the video from Kate. She will do a voice-over account of your entire video and email it back.

TIPS FOR A GOOD VIDEO:

You do NOT need any fancy equipment. Your cell phone camera will do just fine!
Place your camera or phone on a tree branch, fence post, tripod or have a friend hold it.
The closer the zoom is on you & your horse, the easier it is to see exactly what is going on.
Do a quick test for yourself if this is your first time doing a video recording. If you can see the horse and you clearly, so will your coach!
Do not edit, unless to remove dead time before and after the video, but any mistakes or oopsie moments made within the session may aid Kate in coaching you better!
Keep all your videos saved to look back on in the future! You will be able to see how far you've come with your horsemanship!

Yes! While lessons are geared for one-on-one, the virtual Horse-Huamn Relationship program as well as in-person clinics are geared for groups, perfect for community support. And, if you're local, ask about reoccuring group sessions at your own arena: weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly options are available.

How are virtual lessons beneficial?
Virtual coaching gives you access to expert guidance, right from home, no matter where you are located. Whether you're participating live in real-time virtual coaching or reviewing your personalized feedback later, these sessions keep your horsemanship growing strong.

Do you need a fancy set up or camera for virtual coaching?
No! Your cell phone works perfectly. Simply set it on a tripod, fence, or ask someone to hold it for you. I recommend Bluetooth headphones so you can move away from your phone while still hearing me clearly. Make sure your phone is fully charged before each session, and ensure you have strong cell reception or WiFi connection. If needed, consider a signal booster or WiFi extender for areas with poor connectivity.

If I wanted to up my virtual coaching game, what do you suggest I get?
Start with Bluetooth headphones, they're essential for clear communication while moving around. Next, invest in a tripod for stable video. For serious upgrades, consider a Pivo or similar auto-tracking device that mounts your phone and follows you and your horse with 360-degree rotation, completely hands-free. If your phone battery drains quickly during sessions, add a portable charger or power bank that you can connect while filming to keep your device charged throughout the entire session.

What's the bonus of in-person lessons?
In-person sessions offer hands-on support and the chance to work directly with your horse or one of ours. There's something uniquely powerful about learning together in the same space; and Kate's presence brings added clarity, confidence, and connection.

What does on-demand mean?
On-demand access means you can call, message, or video chat with Kate between lessons when you need immediate support. If you're stuck mid-session and need help, she's just a message or call away. This feature includes a set number of uses per month, with the option to purchase additional time if needed.

Do you offer lessons for children?
Absolutely! I love working with all ages. Children 12 and under can enjoy lessons with your horse or our kind and steady horses. Special pricing is available: $250 for four lessons / one month (cash/check only, travel fees may apply). Contact us for availability and details.
