The Horse-Human Relationship Program breaks down the communication barrier between you and your horse so you can understand each other clearly and respond without second guessing.
This structured virtual coaching experience helps you develop clarity, timing, and calm leadership so your horse becomes more engaged, responsive, and willing to connect.
Through personalized calls, video feedback, and guided weekly lessons, you learn how to understand what your horse is actually saying, solve issues at the source, and build lasting partnership in every interaction.
Whether you're starting fresh or rebuilding trust, this work builds the awareness and trust that allows real partnership to grow.
This program is for you if you are ready to take responsibility for the relationship - not just manage behavior.
Limited to 6 committed owners that are ready to become the partner their horse needs.
"My mare became scared and unpredictable, and I became fearful of working with her. Through progressive groundwork, I learned to be a leader for her and she became a partner for me. I now have a special bond with a horse I had given up on before working with Kate." - Jeannie P.
"Kate didn't just work with our two stubborn geldings. She worked with us. Their groundwork manners and responsiveness improved dramatically, and our riding became more balanced and confident. She transformed our relationship with our horses." - Lindsey & Jeremy G.
"After a serious fall and time in the ICU, I was done riding. With patience, Kate helped me rebuild confidence and reconnect with my horses. Now in my mid 70s, I ride my two horses several times a week and train my year old filly." - Ken B.

If your horse's behavior feels sudden, tense, or confusing, it didn't come out of nowhere.
This guide walks you through the subtle body language your horse shows before behaviors like spooking, pulling back, being hard to catch, biting, or refusing to move begin to escalate.
If you'd like a sample of how this program approaches behavior at the root, this guide is a practical place to start.
The program is intentionally broken into three parts to create real change without pressure or overwhelm. You can complete just one, two, or all three, with space in between to practice and strengthen what you have learned.
Each part runs for six weeks and follows a simple, supportive structure designed to help you stay consistent and confident.
This is not a cookie cutter program. Kate walks with you through the entire journey, shaping the work to fit you and your horse as individuals. You receive clear direction, custom feedback, and direct support so you always know what to do next and why it matters.
Each week builds on the last through focused themes, guided exercises, and real time coaching.
All you need to participate is a phone, a tripod or stable surface, and an internet or data connection.
You will be shown exactly how to set up your camera so coaching is clear and effective. This allows you to make real progress from home without the stress of travel, while still receiving personal support.
Group Sessions:Tuesdays, 10:30am - 12:30pm Central Time.
Format: Live group sessions with full replays available for participants + individual support as needed.
Part One focuses on understanding relationship based horsemanship and laying a solid foundation. You will learn how to become more present and aware, improve your feel and timing, and begin trusting your intuition with your horse.
Through simple but powerful groundwork exercises, you will start building lasting trust and confidence for both you and your horse. Many people notice their horse becoming more willing, more engaged, and less reactive. Behaviors that once felt frustrating often begin to soften or fade as the relationship strengthens.
Part Two focuses on refining what you have already learned and applying it in new ways. You will gain tools to problem solve with clarity and confidence by learning how to ask better questions and respond in ways that support both you and your horse.
This phase also begins transferring ground skills into ridden skills. As your understanding deepens, time with your horse feels more enjoyable and purposeful. Your horse begins seeking connection with you, and you gain confidence knowing you have the foundation of a lasting partnership.
Part Three is the ridden portion of relationship based horsemanship. You will learn how to carry the same softness, timing, and feel you developed on the ground into the saddle.
Your horse gains confidence knowing he has a voice and that you know how to listen. Together, you will build trust, understanding, and confidence under saddle while learning exercises that continue to deepen the relationship and support you through future challenges.
When you join, you will receive a step by step welcome email that walks you through how to use Zoom and Slack on your phone.
Zoom is used for your one on one live-coaching sessions.
Slack is our shared space for group coaching, videos, documents, and quick message support when you need guidance.
Kate brings over 15 years of hands-on experience helping horse owners move from confusion and frustration into clarity, confidence, and connection. Her work is calm, grounded, and relationship based, with guidance shaped to you and your horse as individuals.
This is not about pushing through problems or forcing results. It is about building understanding, leadership, and trust in a way that honors both you and your horse.
The Horse Human Relationship Program is made up of three parts. Each part runs for six weeks and focuses on a specific phase of the horse-human relationship. You may choose to complete one part or continue through all three.
Six weeks provides enough time to slow down, build understanding, and create meaningful change without pressure. This timeframe supports consistency, practice, and integration for both you and your horse.
The relationship comes first. Every part of the program is shaped to you and your horse as individuals, focusing on understanding, communication, and trust rather than forcing results or rushing progress.
Virtual coaching allows you to receive effective guidance from home. Sessions may be live or include personalized video feedback, so support continues even outside scheduled calls.
