Bandit has been our tried and true lesson horse since 2011. He has been trail riding in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, he has been ridden without a bridle nor saddle in the arena, has learned finessed movements such as rollbacks, spins, half pass, side pass and more. He has been in parades, pushed cows, and rides off English. He is well versed in liberty, roundpen work, riding off of seat only, and he looks forward to continueing to help people learn all about horsemanship.
Biscuit and Gravy were rescued at the age of 3 and have been under Kate's care ever since. They have gotten to help many children and adults through their time as lesson horses by helping people gain confidence with horses due to their small size, and gentle nature. They have been in parades, trick-or-treating, and learned to pull a wagon as well as carry young riders in a little saddle. Biscuit is the calmer, and more curious of the two, making him exceptionally wonderful for working with really timid children. Gravy likes to be fully involved and sticking his nose into everything and being higher energy than Biscuit makes Gravy a nice step up before working with a full size horse. Together they offer different personalities to explore the world of ground-work and liberty training for adults as well as simple lead-line pony rides for small children. They bring smiles and warms hearts to everyone they meet. They can't wait to meet you, so schedule a lesson and bring the family! (But please leave your pets at home.)
